Knowledge Assessment

Five tracks. Choose the one that matches your role — or take the full assessment. Every track shares a common core, because the jobs of a software business all rest on the same fundamentals.

Why every track shares a core

Selling and delivering are usually different people's jobs — but each needs the fundamentals of the other, because that's precisely where money leaks. If sales doesn't understand delivery, they promise undefined scope and quote from a conversation. If delivery doesn't understand sales, they price on cost, treat discovery as unpaid overhead, and can't defend their number.

So every track includes the same Shared Fundamentals section. Nobody gets to skip the crossover.

How passing works

  • You must score 80% overall — AND
  • no single section may fall below 65%. This stops anyone passing by acing their comfort zone and skipping the crossover material. Both conditions must be met to earn the certificate.
  • Score 100% and the certificate is issued "with Distinction" — a gold seal and different wording. Your score is printed on the certificate, so it's worth retaking until you're happy with it.
  • Every question must be answered before you can submit.
  • Afterwards you'll see every question you missed, the correct answer, why it's correct, and a direct link to the exact section of the guide that covers it.
  • No time limit. Retake as often as you like — getting a question wrong and then reading the section is the most valuable thing that can happen here.
